Events of EFUCA

From the 7th to the 9th of April 2017, the XXXIX National Assembly of the FICLU entitled "1947-2017: Seventy Years of Clubs for UNESCO", took place at the San Biagio Resort, in Acireale, Sicily.

The Working Group came into being, in which people like Lionel Vinour, Silvio de Matos or Antonio Casares acted with enthusiasm and perseverance. Lionel, with his typical Cartesian spirit, has always had the wisdom of what is to be done and prepared. Silvio proved an amazing coagulating energy and Juan Antonio brought tenacity. Even from the beginning, Jean Pierre Dehouck has always supported us in a competent and efficient way, managing to moderate things whenever the case was.

The General Assembly of the European Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (EFUCA), a non-governmental international organization, uniting more than 20 national federations, clubs, UNESCO centers and associations throughout Europe and the United States, met in Minsk on November 11-13, 2016.

Alumnus Club for UNESCO and the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO organized with the financial support of the Department for Interethnic Relations of the Romanian Government, the eighth edition of the "Metamorphosis" project with the theme "Minorities, Culture, Tasty treats".

The General Assembly of the European Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (EFUCA) is hosted by the Republican Public Organisation “Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs” (BelAU) in collaboration with the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and Eurasia Foundation.

“The 3rd edition of " The Night of the Voyage at the end of the Arts and the Worlds ", which will take place from May 21st until June 14th in Pantin, the small Brooklyn - 21th district-France. The festival takes place under the aegis NATCOM Romania, NATCOM France and EFUCA.

On January 30-31, 2016 Gomel (Belarus) held the republican youth forum - Winter University of UNESCO Clubs. More than 30 UNESCO Clubs delegations and clubs-candidates, working along Belarus as well as guests from Bryansk (Russian Federation) attended the forum. All in all, it gathered up 200 people.
