Goi Peace Foundation

Goi Peace Foundation, with the support of UNESCO and the National Commissions for UNESCO from many countries, organises the twentieth edition of the International Essay Contest for Young People, 2019 edition. The theme for this year's contest is: "Creating a society full of kindness."

Are eligible for participating in the contest all young people who are  up to 25 years as of June 15, 2019 (the deadline for application). The contest is designed for two categories of participants, children (who are up to 14 years old at the time of the deadline for application) and youth (with ages between 15-25 years old at the time of the deadline for application). The winners will be announced on October 31, 2019 and will be invited to the award ceremony to be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 23, 2019. Travel expenses will be covered by the organizer.
