Events of EFUCA
The European Federation for UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Association was profoundly saddened with the news of passing of Mr. Tao Xiping, by one of the pillars of the UNESCO Clubs movement worldwide and the Founding President of the Chinese Federation for UNESCO Clubs and Associations.
It is with great sorrow that we announce to you loss of our beloved UNESCO Clubs family member, Mr. Dhirendra Bhatnagar, last President of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations (WFUCA), who passed away on Sunday, 17th May, in New Delhi, India at the age of 65.

to the celebration of the 1150th anniversary of the scientist and philosopher Abu Nasr al-Farabi
and the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev.
Under the aegies of the European Federation for UNESCO Clubs and Associations, strong partnership between the UNESCO Clubs in China and Romania is developped.
The partnership is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cyprus and Romania
On May 25–28, 2019, a meeting of the Executive Board of the European and North American Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations (EFUCA) was held in Minsk.
The National Commission of Romania for UNESCO is organizing in Bucharest, May 13-18th, the second edition of the UNESCO's Academy for Young Women, on the topic of “Mass media as a tool for women's empowerment.” The project, which is organized with the unwavering support of UNESCO and in partnership with Burda - Romania editorial group, is fostering a collaboration with the Romanian National Television (TVR) and the European Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (EFUCA).
