Events of National Federations
On April 15, 2026, a significant event took place at the President Hotel in Minsk – a celebration dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Belarusian Association Clubs for UNESCO and the 70th anniversary of the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO.

The event consisted of two main sections: a training seminar entitled "UNESCO Clubs as a Subject of State Youth Policy and an Active Participant in the Global UNESCO Clubs Movement" and a ceremony entitled "The Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs – Making the World a Better Place!"

The event was attended by approximately 80 UNESCO Club curators from all regions of the republic, experts, distinguished guests, veterans, and partners of the UNESCO Clubs movement in Belarus.

At the opening of the seminar, Natalia Sergeyevna Schasnovich, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO; Natalia Mikhailovna Kokhanchik, Senior Inspector of the Department of Youth Affairs of the Main Directorate for Ideological, Educational Work, and Youth Policy of the Ministry of Education; and Dmitry Yuryevich Subtselny, Chairman of the Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs, addressed the participants with welcoming remarks. The seminar program included presentations on UNESCO sites in Belarus, state youth policy, and innovative UNESCO Club projects in the country's regions, presented by experts from the State Educational Institution "Academy of Education," the State Educational Institution "RIVSH," the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO, and curators of the UNESCO Clubs "CID" and "Planeta."
Dzmitry Subtselny, Chairman of the Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs, presented a report on the organization's activities in 2025, and also spoke about the active international participation of the Secretariat and UNESCO Clubs, as well as close cooperation with the World and European-North American Federations of UNESCO Clubs and Associations.
The second part of the event featured a festive concert program from the Light Quartet, and an awards ceremony was held for UNESCO Club curators, partners, and staff of the Secretariat of the RPO BelAU, awarding them with certificates of appreciation, honorary diplomas, and a badge in connection with the organization's 35th anniversary.

Twenty-seven representatives of the Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs were awarded the "For the Development of UNESCO Clubs and the AAN and UNESKA" badge. This is the organization's highest award.


The ceremony concluded with a beautiful photo shoot and a festive reception.
